Paul Bassi CBE DL D.UNIV
Chairman
Paul is CEO of London Stock Exchange Listed REI Plc and Chairman of Likewise Group Plc, Co-founder and Non-Executive Chairman of Bond Wolfe, formerly Non-Executive Chairman of CP Bigwood Chartered Surveyors, past Regional Chairman to Coutts Bank (West Midlands) and past President of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce. Paul was appointed High Sheriff for the County of West Midlands for 2009 and Deputy Lieutenant. Paul has received Honorary Doctorates from both Birmingham City and Aston University, and was awarded a CBE in the 2010 New Year’s Honours List.
Marcus Daly FCA
Non-Exec Vice-Chairman
Marcus is the Finance Director of REI Plc and formerly Non-Executive Chairman of the Tipton & Coseley Building Society, and former Non-Executive Director of CP Bigwood Chartered Surveyors. Marcus is a Chartered Accountant with 40 years’ experience in advising clients on strategic matters and corporate planning, particularly in the property sector.
Bobby Bassi BSC (Hons) MRICS
Bobby is a qualified Chartered Surveyor having worked for global consultancy’s, Cushman & Wakefield and Knight Frank. Bobby is responsible for the overall long-term strategy of the family’s private office and oversees the day to day management of existing investments and trading businesses. Bobby graduated in Real Estate at Nottingham Trent University and attended King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys.
Gurpreet Bassi
Gurpreet is Chief Executive of Bond Wolfe, the leading agency and auction house in the Midlands, and Chairman of Bond Wolfe Media. Gurpreet has won numerous awards to include the ‘Young Leader of the Year’ award at the Business Desk Leadership Awards in 2019, ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce Awards in 2020, ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the Signature Awards in 2019 and ‘Young Professional of the Year’ at Signature Awards in 2018.
Anna Durnford
Anna has over 20 years’ experience within the legal, financial, accountancy and property sectors. Anna started her career in financial services, before joining Ernst & Young as PA to the managing partner in Birmingham. Anna joined REI Plc in 2007 to provide executive support to the Board and oversees operations within the business and is now Head of Investor Relations.
James Mattin
James, formerly of Christie & Co, joined Bond Wolfe in 2003. He was appointed as a Director at the age of 32 and is now Managing Director and Chief Auctioneer as well as sitting on the Board. With over 20 years’ experience in the property industry, James specialises in major agency and development projects. James is a West Bromwich Town Centre Partnership board member and sits on the judging panel for the International Property Awards and the Property Awards Committee for Variety Children’s Charity. Away from work, James is a devoted husband and father of two, a season ticket holder at Tottenham Hotspur and a golfing fanatic.
